Brief on MIET’s IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is an essential component of the MIET’s management system, established to monitor and improve the quality standards of academic and administrative activities. The IQAC of MIET aims to ensure quality education in the institute and continually improve the teaching-learning and evaluation processes. It acts as an authorized channel for driving the institute towards academic excellence by developing action plans for removing deficiencies and strengthening the system’s quality.

The IQAC of MIET performs various functions that include the development and application of quality benchmarks for different academic and administrative activities. It also facilitates the creation of a learner-centric environment that promotes quality education and encourages faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning processes.

Additionally, the IQAC of MIET arranges for feedback responses from students, parents, and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes. It disseminates information on various quality parameters of higher education, organizes workshops, seminars, and promotes quality circles to enhance the overall quality of the institute.

The MIET’s IQAC documents of various programs and activities that lead to quality improvement, acts as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality-related activities, and develops and maintains an institutional database through Management Information System (MIS) for maintaining and enhancing the institutional quality.
